SYNOPSIS:    

Patches of low-level clouds may cause brief passing showers today and dry conditions are expected to return by Friday. Winds are gradually subsiding, while the lingering Saharan dust maintains slightly hazy conditions across the local region.   

Seas are gradually subsiding, peaking near 6 feet. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution. 

STATE OF THE SEA:  Slight to moderate           
WAVES/SWELLS: 4 to 6 feet  

   

SPECIAL FEATURES:  The Meteorological Department of St. Maarten will continue to monitor the situation with La Soufriere volcano and update the public accordingly.
