SYNOPSIS:

The Atlantic high-pressure ridge is expected to generate gentle to moderate winds across the region. Moisture embedded within the wind flow may cause passing showers.

Marine conditions will be slight to moderate for the next few days.

STATE OF THE SEA:  Slight to Moderate       WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 5 feet

SPECIAL FEATURES: Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with a weak area of low pressure located several hundred miles south-southeast of St Maarten has decreased this morning. Increasing upper-level winds are likely to prevent further development of this system during the next few days.

THIS DISTURBANCE DOES NOT POSE A DIRECT THREAT TO ST MAARTEN.
