SYNOPSIS:   
The effects of diurnal heating and a weak tropical wave may cause isolated showers over the local area. A loose surface pressure gradient will maintain mostly light winds.  

Marine conditions will remain slight during the next few days.

SPECIAL FEATURES:  Tropical depression ten has strengthened into Tropical Storm Kate. This system continues to move away from St. Maarten and poses no threat to the island.
