SYNOPSIS:   

Despite the presence of a tropical wave in the vicinity of the Lesser Antilles, low moisture levels will restrict precipitation over the local area. Meanwhile, a weak Atlantic high pressure system will maintain a light to moderate wind flow.   

A high surf advisory has been issued for St. Maarten as long period northerly swells are expected to affect local waters at least during the next few days. Sea bathers and small craft operators are advised to exercise caution.
