The Fire Department reiterated the message from the Meteorological Department of St. Maarten (MDS) on Thursday when they issued their flood advisory, that motorists and persons living in low lying areas, should remain vigilant due to possible street flooding and localized flooding. Motorists were advised to drive with caution in low lying areas; those residing in hillside communities are advised to look out for rock-falls.
