Some 30 Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Nature Foundation volunteers recently cleaned up Simpson Bay Beach to make it readily accessible to nesting sea turtles. The beach clean-up was organized to mark RBC Blue Water Day 2016 Project, an environmental priority programme focused on the preservation of water.
RBC Country Manager Giovanni Croes thanked Nature Foundation for its continued efforts in safeguarding the nesting grounds of the sea turtles. He also thanked the RBC team for their involvement. The Nature Foundation commended RBC and its volunteers for the hard work. Launched in 2007, the RBC Blue Water Project is a 10-year global charitable commitment of US $50 million to help provide access to swimmable, drinkable, fishable water, now and for future generations.
