The Foundation for Protestant Christian Education held a Staff Enrichment Day to promote professional development and staff wellbeing. For the teachers at the Asha Stevens and Helmich Snijders Hillside Christian Schools, this meant a day off from teaching and engaging in dynamic sessions and fun activities. Sessions included The Protestant Faith and The Christian Teacher/Worker, The Importance of Teamwork in an Organisation Achieving its Goals, Dealing with Stress, Classroom Strategies for Dealing with Disruptive Students, The Importance of Customer-Oriented Service, and two highly fun and rejuvenating Zumba sessions. The school board thanked staff members and presenters. Both founders of the Hillside Christian Schools, Helmich Snijders and Asha Stevens-Mohabier, were present and participated in the Staff Enrichment Day.
