A film crew from the US Virgin Islands recently visited St. Maarten for interviews and video footage for a documentary about the recovery of Caribbean islands impacted by the active 2017 hurricane season. The video was the initiative taken by Bohlkes International Airways of St. Croix.
Marketing Director and Chief Pilot were asked to be panellists at next month’s National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) International Operators Conference in Las Vegas. Execujet Operations Director Sheldon Palm was interviewed by Ashley Bouzianis Bohlke’s Airways. He described the impact of Hurricane Irma and the progress of the airport and in the community. Sheldon is a familiar face in the aviation community as he has relentlessly presented his company and St. Maarten over the years at major international events such as NBAA. The market value of just this visit that included a charter aircraft, film crew, half-a -day St. Maarten and the other on San Juan has a price tag of US $10,000. Photo courtesy Bud Slabbaert.
