PHILIPSBURG--Teen Times Interscholastic Talent Showdown tickets will be on sale at reduced rates for a few hours only on Saturday, October 31. The annual promotion, weeks before the show, gives parents a better chance to get tickets for the popular event.

The reduced US $5 tickets will only be available for three hours, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, at The Daily Herald on Bush Road.

Once 4:00pm hits, the ticket price for the event goes back up to US $20.

Talent Showdown 2015 will be held on Saturday, November 28, at the Westin St. Maarten Dawn Beach Resort.

It is the largest interscholastic competition, featuring performing arts teams from the island’s high schools competing in song, dance, motivational rap, drama and spoken word. This year Teen Times has also added a category for teachers.

Talent Showdown sets itself apart from other similar shows by awarding the main prize to the winning school. In other words, students compete to win for their school first and foremost.
