Collection of funds will be done today, Wednesday, to Saturday, May 27, from 8:00am to 6:30pm at Philipsburg Pharmacy on Voges Street, Maho Pharmacy at Maho Plaza #14, Orange Grove Pharmacy at the Shopping Centre #18 in Cole Bay, Le Grand Marché on Bush Road and Carrefour in Cole Bay.
Funds and/or medicines from the list provided are greatly needed and will be appreciated.
The list of items includes masks, adhesive, silver sulfadiazine, protosulfil, hirudoid, sodium bicarbonate, iodine, gerdex, saline solution (IV and dropper), sutures, nylon 3-0 straight needles, nylon 5-3 straight needles, nylon 6-0 straight needles, nylon 3-0 curved needles, painkillers, ketoprofen, dipyrone, ibuprofen tablets and acetaminophen tablets – diclofenac are being sought.
Bronchodilators (inhaled) – salbutamol, budecort, berudual – and nebulizers for adults and children are also included in the list of items highly required, as are budesonide (pulmicort), steroid eye drops, antibiotics such as ampicillin/sulbactam ampoules and pills, bacitracin cream and bactroban cream, anti-allergic alovent (ipatropio bromide) oxygen masks, large and small zip-lock bags, spray bottles and sunscreen lotion.
Interested persons willing to assist may come out to donate to the group this week.
