The chartered Boeing 757 containing the casket of iconic French superstar Johnny Hallyday arrived at Princess Juliana International Airport on Monday afternoon along with immediate family and close friends. The entourage transferred to St. Barths where Hallyday was due to be buried in the cemetery in Lorient. Reports indicated traffic circulation and parking was strictly controlled on the route to the cemetery. Drones were prohibited from filming the private ceremony and no boats were allowed in the bay of Lorient. Villa owners were asked not to facilitate journalists and photographers from vantage points near the cemetery. Photo courtesy Norbert Finkel.
