Rock the House introduces new Teen-Social segment

The five young ladies taking part in the Teen-Social segment at Rock the House talent show on September 29.

PHILIPSBURG–Popular youth talent competition Rock the House is back for another year and this thirteenth edition of the show on September 29 will have a Miss Teen-Social segment.

The organiser, Laugh Out Loud Productions, announced that the segment is in no way a queen show, but allows the attendees to pick the contestant who impressed them the most with her talent.

Five young ladies – Fabienne Jean-Simon, Elizabeth Jimenez, Xiomara JeanPierre, Nicole Grace Garrin and Dorothy James – signed up last month and will perform a five-minute act for the audience during Rock the House on September 29.

Laugh Out Loud Productions said popular segments like Best Dance Group and Best Amateur Deejay are still there.

What makes Rock the House special among talent shows is that the crowd is the ultimate judge of the show. At the end of each segment audience members choose the winner of the respective categories.

The location of the event will be announced at a later date. Laugh Out Loud is calling on potential sponsors to contribute to the long-running show. So far nine dance groups have signed up for the show and two deejays.

Interested persons can look up Laugh Out Loud Productions on its Facebook page.

Tickets for the show will be available on September 11 only at McDonald’s in Philipsburg and are US $10 in advance. The event starts at 7:00pm sharp.
