Rockland Estate eco-park, home of the “Flying Dutchman” – the world’s steepest zipline, opens to the public today, Friday. Members of the press get a first-hand experience ahead of the opening.
They were guided through the Emilio Wilson Museum and Emilio’s restaurant, operated by restauranteurs Su and Norman Wathey with Chef Dino Jagtiani. The park opens Friday to Sunday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The special day pass available for the opening weekend costs US $54 for adults and $39 for children. The ticket provides access to the eco-park and its attractions. Along with the Dutchman, the Soualiga Sky Explorer, a scenic chairlift ride up and down Sentry Hill, is the other signature attraction available on opening weekend. (John Halley photos)
