ANGUILLA–Pre-school and primary school children are in for a treat with a Rotary Christmas Fun Day organised by Rotarians, the Education Department, teachers, firemen and police. It is to be held at the Agricultural Grounds on December 19. At the end of the day each family will receive a turkey and ham donated through Anguilla Progressive Association of New York (APANY) by Emily Millis Hiatt and family. A bouncy castle, face painting, balloon blowing, music by a band of elves and gifts from Santa will all be part of the day.
“We greatly appreciate this generous donation to the Anguillian community,” says APANY President Carlson Lloyd Connor. “Thanks to Ms. Emily Millis Hiatt and the Salem-Foundation, the holidays will be brighter for many families that are still trying to rebuild. Her great love for the island through these donations will be well appreciated in this time of need.”
