The road into Pointe Blanche was recently paved, but it appears that the freshly laid asphalt will not stay smooth and without potholes for long.
This section of the road is flooded every night by runoff water from houses across from Bobby’s Marina.
This nightly runoff existed prior to the road resurfacing and had caused several craters to develop in this section of the road. Pointe Blanche residents who have had to endure crippling traffic for months due to the underground cable project, and prior to that hitting the bottom of their vehicles in the runoff-carved potholes, hopes government inspectors will check out the runoffs along the road at night and issue warnings and/or fines to curb this situation.
