Safe Haven signs MOU with MHF | THE DAILY HERALD

PHILIPSBURG–Mental Health Foundation (MHF) and Safe Haven Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Thursday, June 14, in an effort to start a joint relationship with the objective to strengthen the mental and psychological health of domestic violence victims.

The MOU will function as an agreement to facilitate partnership and cooperation in the areas of intake process, treatment/care plans, joint treatment, medical and nursing technical support, prevention programmes, staff training support, client training support, communication and cooperation with third parties, and awareness and reintegration programmes
Safe Haven’s Executive Director Cassandra Richardson expressed enthusiasm about having MHF provide quality psychiatric care to her clients.
MHF stated in a press release on Monday that it aims to improve the quality of individuals and families by compassionately serving mental health, addiction, education and community support needs in St. Maarten and surrounding islands.
