PHILIPSBURG–Detectives are investigating the stabbing of a man L.A.S.M. which took place on A.Th. Illidge Road in the vicinity of China Bar and Restaurant after midnight Saturday, March 31.
According to reports, a fight took place between the victim and the suspect during which the suspect used a sharp pointed object to stab the victim. After committing the act, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
The victim was transported by private vehicle to St. Maarten Medical Center for treatment. Police announced on Monday that the victim was also admitted for observation and further treatment.
