Utilities company GEBE recently installed what appear to be security cameras attached to streetlights in the Belvedere area. Justice Minister Cornelius de Weever is set to meet with GEBE and the police to get updated on the project in the coming days. Residents who spotted the devices said that while they are happy if they are put up for surveillance and safety, it would be good to understand who is collecting the footage and exactly to what end.
