ST. EUSTATIUS–Today, Tuesday, the popular Road March Show is set to take place. However, this year there is a twist. The host of the Road March show CT Creativity, also known as CTC, the mother company of CTC-TV, CTC-Radio, CTC-IPTV and CTC-Architecture, will be celebrating ten years since it first started in 2007. Therefore, this year’s Road March will also be going back ten years, and will be a show this time, instead of a competition.

There will be performances by the individual artistes, who won over the years, such as Show-Time, who won the competition in 2007, “Mr. Back-to-Back-to-Back” T-Time himself, who won in 2008, 2009, and 2010, and is currently taking over this year’s Carnival with spectacular stage play-outs,

Lady Shorteh, who won in 2015, will also be performing, as well as reigning King Face, who won the Road March Competition in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. He took a break in 2015, and came back to win once again in 2016.

There will also be performances by Statia’s rising stars Big Shen and Gerson Herrera.

CTC will top things off with international Soca diva Patrice Roberts, who has been in the music industry for quite a while. She is musically close with Soca King Machel Montano. Patrice Roberts has been hitting big worldwide, and went to the very top of the charts in St. Eustatius.

Representative of CTC’s management Ricardo Fortin, Jr., popularly known as “Thachie,” announced the surprise in an interview on CTC-Radio morning show “Rock Solid.”

He said fans have been “extremely excited and anxious waiting for the highlight of Statia’s Carnival 2017.” CTC management thanked the general public for all their support over the years.

The Road March Show, featuring Patrice Roberts, will start at 8:30pm sharp. Fortin said he hoped to see everyone there, and extended a continued safe and happy Carnival to all residents and visitors. “Come out and enjoy the show, and be sure to drink and drive responsibly,” he said.
