Six commercial spaces available in new ‘Lolos’ village in Marigot | THE DAILY HERALD

MARIGOT–The delegation for the Living Environment of the Collectivité informs the public that there are still some spaces available in the new temporary “Lolos” village on the Marigot waterfront due to be opening soon, including vacant spaces for a restaurant, two bars and three shops. The Collectivité invites interested persons to submit an application for a Temporary Occupation Permit AOT.

All the occupants of the kiosk building, which was badly damaged by Hurricane Irma, were assigned to this new space to carry on their activities, while the Collectivité carries out demolition and reconstruction work on the original building.

The procedure to obtain a temporary occupation permit is as follows: fill in the form which can be downloaded from the website

* For a restaurant – presentation of the project and market research (the team, the proposed menu style, the originality of the concept and its interest to consumers); training received in hygiene and cooking; and the experience acquired in the field of cooking and structure management.

* Bar features – the applicant’s experience and motivation, the licence for the sale of alcoholic products, if already acquired.

* For a shop – description of the products that will be offered for sale (originality in relation to what is already on sale on the market should be highlighted); the applicant’s experience; the motivations.

Also required are a copy of the identity document and proof of residence.

Persons who have already submitted an application to the Collectivité will be taken into account, subject to the completeness of the files with the managing department.
