HARBOUR VIEW--Snap elections will now be held on September 26, 2016, and not February 9, 2016, as the Marcel Gumbs Cabinet had wanted. That national decree was amended on Monday when Governor Eugene Holiday affixed his signature to the William Marlin Cabinet’s decree that contains new dates for elections and the dissolution of Parliament.
The Marlin’s Cabinet decree was sent to the Governor on Monday, December 14. The decree entered into force immediately.
Snap elections now on Sept. 26
