Special ferry operations for Anguilla Summer Festival | THE DAILY HERALD

ANGUILLA–The Anguilla Air and Seaport Authority (AASPA) has sent out an advisory for the travelling public regarding the ferry schedule between Marigot, St. Martin, and Blowing Point, Anguilla, from August 3 to August 6.

The last ferry departs from Marigot at 8:00pm on Saturday, August 3, and Sunday, August 4. On Monday, August 5, the first ferry departs Anguilla at 6:30am so that passenger movements from Marigot can commence early. Ferries will operate on a continual basis departing when full. The last ferry will leave Blowing Point at 9:30pm on Monday.

Ferries will also operate on a continual basis on Tuesday, August 6, with the last ferry leaving Blowing Point at 6:30pm and returning from Marigot at 7:00pm.

Normal ferry service will resume on Wednesday, August 7.

Passengers using Road Bay Port will pay US $10 per passenger. This includes the $5 embarkation tax for a day trip, $3 security fee and $2 special port dues. Embarkation tax from Blowing Point is EC $13.

The AASPA extends best wishes for a happy and safe Summer Festival. It also extends thanks to officials of the Marigot Port and French authorities, the Anguilla government and its agencies, ferry and vessel owners and operators for their diligence and cooperation. “The safety and security of the travelling public remains our highest priority,” said AASPA in a press release.
