A church service was held in collaboration with the Golden Rock Cancer Awareness Foundation and the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church on Saturday in Newton’s pasture ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month which starts today, October 1. Pastor Virgil Sams welcomed parishioners and guests to the service. Geraldine Hodge spoke about the plans for breast cancer awareness month. The Foundation also paid homage to the elderly and congratulated all senior citizens ahead of International Day of Older Persons today, Monday.
