PHILIPSBURG–Domino’s Pizza International will host its bi-annual Regional Leadership Summit in St. Maarten. The President’s Meeting and Rally will be June 4 to 9 and will bring more than 100 Master Franchisees representing some 1,700 Domino’s locations, and dozens of corporate executives and international partners to the island.
The convention, to be held in The Westin St. Maarten Dawn Beach Resort and Spa, will allow the sharing of best practices and the chance to learn from some of our industry experts.
The Americas region consists of Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.
Every two years, Domino’s Regional Franchisees gather together to celebrate accomplishments and to lay out the plan forward to continue regional growth and to provide inspiration to the teams from which to take back to their respective markets.
On the other off years is a World Wide Rally where General Managers and Franchisees gather in Las Vegas, Nevada.
During the five days of meetings, awards, and new product sampling and training, there is also some scheduled time to enjoy the island. The group will embark on an island tour, a Sunset Sail with Aqua Mania Adventures, and have a barbeque at Buccaneer Beach Bar. Each night dinners will be hosted at various restaurants.
Time has also been allotted for shopping excursions and activities for spouses while the meetings are being held.
Brian Trier, Vice President for the Americas region said, “Hosting the event alongside our 30-year Domino’s veterans, Heather and John Caputo is something that we have been planning for more than a year.”
He added, “St. Maarten team is recognized as leaders in our region and across the globe. Having this opportunity to recognize them for their contribution to our brand and for their hard work as ambassadors in their community, we could not think of a more fitting location from which to show our appreciation.”
John Caputo, St. Maarten’s Domino’s franchise holder said, “We are certainly excited to have the opportunity to host and showcase our island and the Domino’s brand here locally. My team strives day in and day out to be the best, to overcome challenges, such as traffic and poor delivery addressing.”
“It is an amazing honour that Domino’s International chose St. Maarten for this event and that our hard work doesn’t go unnoticed,” Caputo said.
“I know the experience of our island will have everyone returning home to their markets fired up about the Domino’s brand and what is possible and at the same time relaxed after having experienced all St. Maarten has to offer,” said Caputo.
