St. Maarten voted in the referendum on the European Union’s association treaty with Ukraine on Wednesday and Dutch representative of St. Maarten Gert Versluis is seen here verifying the votes.
Fourteen voted for the treaty while three voted against and one vote was counted as blank. In total 18 votes were cast by approximately 1000 eligible voters on the island. On the island of Curaçao 36 voted for and 58 against, Aruba 27 voted for and 32 persons voted against.
