ST. EUSTATIUS–State Secretary of Home Affairs and Kingdom Relations, Raymond Knops arrived on St. Eustatius early Sunday evening on board a Winair aircraft.
The State Secretary and his delegation were welcomed at F.D. Roosevelt Airport by Government Commissioner Marcolino “Mike” Franco, Deputy Government Commissioner Mervyn Stegers and other officials of the Public Entity St. Eustatius.
During his visit, the state secretary will explain the current state of affairs surrounding the restoration of administrative order on the island.
He will also go on various outings to visit different projects that are currently taking place on Statia, culminating in a town hall meeting at the Mike van Putten Youth Center/Lion’s Den tonight, Monday, September 23, from 7:30 until 8:30.
Following the discussion, the state secretary will make himself available to speak in an informal setting with attendees.
