St. Eustatius will start the celebration of the 55th anniversary of Carnival today, Wednesday, July 17. The Opening Jump-Up will start at the Mall at 8:00pm. Jamm Boyzz Band will entertain the revellers on the roads. The Jump-Up will conclude at Mike van Putten Youth Centre. At Carnival City the festivities will be officially be opened to the public. Carnival will continue on Thursday evening with Laanwass hosting the Warzone Soca – The Settlement Road March, which is expected to start at 8:00pm.
