Four students from St. Eustatius departed the island on Sunday afternoon on board a Winair flight around 2:00. The students travelled via St. Maarten onward to the Netherlands to further their education. Family, friends and loved ones were at F.D.

Roosevelt Airport to see the students off. It was a mixture of emotions at the departure hall where tears and laughter could be seen and heard. In photo are the four students together with Statia’s own Winair co-pilot Amber Hellebrand (left).
