An unusual situation presented itself on Monday afternoon as this crane got stuck on the road divider on Beacon Hill Road.
The crane was apparently heading to Alegria Hotel and, after passing the roundabout on Airport Boulevard, the road became too narrow for the heavy vehicle to stay in one lane. The driver then attempted to drive in the middle of road, believing the crane would easily pass over the road divider. However, the divider was higher than assumed and the crane got wedged. Persons then had to place wood under the wheels to lift the vehicle above the divider and free the trapped crane. This had to be done along the entire length of the road.
