MARIGOT–In connection with this Friday’s edition of “Sweat N Chill Fridayz” organised by the Department of Youth and Sports (Service Jeunesse) the Collectivité informs the public that the portion of Boulevard de France between Bistrot de la Mer and the former tourism office roundabout will be temporarily closed from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.
Rue de l’Embarcadère up to the local restaurants in the Place du Marché will be kept open to traffic, however, between Enoch’s Place until the end of the street parallel to the food market (sea side) it will be closed to traffic from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Safety barriers will be installed at various points.
This system will be renewed under the same conditions every first and third Friday of each month.
The streets reopen to traffic from 9:30pm.
“Sweat N Chill Fridayz” is a free fun event aimed at the youth, comprising family orientated activities such as cycling, roller skating, street workouts, and Zumba.
