PHILIPSBURG–Social and Health Insurances SZV Director Glen A. Carty received his first dose of the coronavirus COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, March 5.
“Carty is part of the growing group of residents who have decided to take the free vaccine,” SZV said in a press release on Sunday.
“To take the vaccine or not, will always be your own choice. But, I do ask that everyone does research on the facts and make your choice based on these facts and your medical condition,” said Carty.
“Together, we can slow the spread of this virus. The vaccine is finally available to us, let us make good use of this chance we have to create a new and safe way of life on our island,” he continued.
