Intense Divas, Progressive closeoff the second round with wins

ST. EUSTATIUS--The final game of the second round of St. Eustatius Volleyball Association regular season saw the Serv-ivors team go up against the Intense Divas team in the female division on Saturday, April 24th at the Earl N. Merkman Sports Auditorium.

The Intense Divas dominated the Serv-ivors with a 25-0 first set win, the second set (25-18) and third set (25-12) were won in similar fashion as the Intense Divas cruised to victory.  The second game of the night featured the Progressive and Dynamite teams in the male division. The Progressive team took the first set (25-14). The second set was a more back and forth game, but the Progressicve team pulled off victory and won the set (25-23).  Facing defeat the Dynamite team dug deep and won the third set (25-21). The fourth set saw both teams go the distance and extend the game. The Dynamite team extended the match and came away with the set win (34-32).  The fifth and deciding set saw both teams play hard, but ultimately the Progressive team won the set (16-14) and the match.
