Back by Popular Demand: The Other Half
~ Weirdly wonderful play about relationships ~
Creative comedy and traumatic torment is on display in “The Other Half.” NIA – The National Institute of Arts – continues to raise the bar, offering eclectic diversions for the culturally in tune populace of St. Maarten/St. Martin. Recently they presented a weirdly wonderful play by Loes Nauta, which starred the performance talents of Dieudonnee Ostiana, Albina Matuzko, Carla van Dam, Gwenda van der Spoel and Hanneke Horjus. Now the play, entitled “The Other Half: Loving Struggles,” is back by popular demand for a final showing.
Come out on March 19 at 7:00pm for inspiration, entertainment, enlightenment and quite a bit of laughter.
The five women on stage will push all those buttons and more. The vignettes in this compilation reflect a selection of scenes from Moliere to Tarantino – something that could only be hatched from the prolific mind of director Loes Nauta.
Take a break from the routine to enjoy this unique show, and bring YOUR other half!
