Management of telecommunication company EUTEL NV in St. Eustatius hosted a motivational team-building day on Monday, March 22, themed “Unlocking better communication”, created and hosted by Shanna Mercera-Gibbs.
General managing director Maryteresse “Liesje” Lijfrock-Redan said, “Team building encourages growth in personnel; it reconnects employees with themselves, [and with – Ed.] co-workers and management.” Goal was to promote team togetherness and to educate staff on the importance of teamwork. Lijfrock-Redan said EUTEL staff members are now better prepared to work together as a team. They also enhanced their skills to handle difficult situations on the job.
