Two injured in head-on collision in Orient Bay

MARIGOT–Two persons were taken to hospital after a head-on collision between two cars in Orient Bay on New Year’s Eve, the Gendarmerie reported. The extent of their injuries was not known.

The New Year’s Eve festivities appeared to be more subdued this year on the roads. Some 14 drivers were issued with verbal warnings for alcohol consumption and two drivers were in possession of invalid driving licence or non-possession of a driving licence.
No further details or information was given regarding these traffic controls.
