Reliable sources say that the men entered the store pretending to be customers. They asked to see some pieces of jewelry, only to then pull out at least one firearm.

The robbers did not take any cash, instead they made off with a “considerable” amount of merchandise. Police say the men fled on foot in the direction of Sundial School, but it is unclear if they got into a vehicle later.

Police officers searched the area for the suspects immediately after the robbery, but to no avail. The suspects remain at large as of 2:20pm Monday. Detectives left the scene shortly after 1:30pm after conducting the preliminary investigation and speaking to witnesses.

If persons have information about the robbery or the suspects’ whereabouts, they are requested to contact police at tel. 1-721-542-2222 or the anonymous and free-of-charge tip line at tel. 9300.
