Two openings only at Simpson Bay Bridge

SIMPSON BAY–The John Sainsborough Lejuez bridge in Simpson Bay is operational. Mariners though will have only two daily openings to choose from: 10:00am and 3:00pm until further notice. Outbound traffic will be allowed to transit first.

There is an obstruction near the south side entrance of the bridge channel.  Salavage Operator Koole Mamoet will remove it within short.

All vessels will enter the  lagoon at their own risk.  Mariners should contact marinas for guidance.  Vessels should call bridge attendant on Marine Radio VHF Channel 12 before transiting the bridge channel.

The Simpson Bay Causeway Bridge is out of operation for transiting of boats. Technicians and a bridge repair kit will arrive from the Netherlands soon to get the bridge swing up and running.
