SABA--A unilateral collision occurred in the Fire Department’s parking lot at Power Street in The Bottom on Saba at 5:35pm Wednesday, November 18.
The driver of a car had put the gearbox of her vehicle in reverse and the moment she stepped on the accelerator, her foot got stuck under the brake pedal. This made her lose control of her car, which hit another vehicle that was parked in the vicinity. After that the woman’s vehicle crashed into the wall of the office of telephone company SATEL, where it came to a stop.
The driver of the vehicle was taken by ambulance to A.M. Edwards Medical Centre for treatment, the Caribbean Netherlands Police Force KPCN reported.
