CAY HILL–Traffic on Link One was disrupted minutes to 4:00pm Friday when a trailer load capsized and nearly fell down the hill. Luckily no injuries were reported and the driver was seen speaking to traffic officers after the incident took place.
Police spokesman Chief Inspector Ricardo Henson told The Daily Herald on Friday that the driver told officers that the state of the trailer was not 100 per cent and due to its state the container fell off while going over Link One.
Many road users question whether the trailer should have been on the streets at that time.
Police officers quickly set up a road block and directed traffic. Link One was not open to traffic until heavy equipment operators arrived, managed to get the container off the hill and transported it to another location.
The road was back to normal for traffic users after 9:00pm Friday.
