GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – The Fire Department, is advising persons living downwind from the landfill fire, to close windows and doors, especially persons who have a respiratory challenge, and for persons who suffer from asthma, shortness of breath, or any other respiratory challenges.
The Fire Department is monitoring the situation at the landfill on Pond Island. The company responsible for the management of the landfill is working diligently to keep the fire under control.

Are they serious! Power out most of the day and they want us to keep the windows and doors closed! What island do they live on, Cole Bay was covered in smog since early this morning. They are trying to kill us all! The only people with power all day was GEBE.
Incompetence is killing us slowly (both Dump and GEBE!).
