USM board back in Parliament today

PHILIPSBURG–Parliament will continue its Central Committee meeting with University of St. Martin’s board in Parliament House today, Tuesday, starting at 10:00am.
This session on the board’s closure of the university was suspended on November 28. It was requested by Members of Parliament Theo Heyliger, Franklin Meyers, Sidharth “Cookie” Bijlani, Perry Geerlings, Sarah Wescot-Williams, Claret Connor, Tamara Leonard and Chanel Brownbill.
Also on the agenda is the advice on changes to the composition of several permanent and ad hoc committees of Parliament.
The public can attend the Parliament session. Attendees are reminded to have valid photo identification.
The session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120, Pearl Radio FM 98.1, SXMGOV Radio 107.9 FM,, and of St. Maarten.
