Vendors can register by Friday for COCI’s 6th Christmas Street Fair | THE DAILY HERALD

COCI Executive Director Anastacio Baker.

PHILIPSBURG–Vendors interested in having booths at the St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (COCI) sixth COCI Street Fair, can register for the fair, before the December 7th deadline.

The Chamber is currently busy making preparations for the holiday event. Registration can be done at COCI’s office at C.A. Cannegieter Street #1 in Philipsburg.

The street fair will be held on Saturday, December 22, from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. Registration fee per vendor is US $50. “The Chamber takes the initiative to organise this fair right before the Christmas shopping rush. Philipsburg is the capital of our country and hence one of the reasons it is organised here,” COCI Executive Director Anastacio Banker said in a press release on Sunday.

“The initiative is to bring together local vendors who will have the opportunity to sell their goods to residents and visitors. Vendors will be able to offer a variety of products including delicious local snacks and food for the holiday season. The Chamber has lowered the registration fee this year because we would like to give the opportunity to everyone to be a part of this great event and making it a success once again.”

Baker said the event is about bringing the Christmas spirit to Philipsburg. “I call on vendors to sign-up today, so they can display their products and food during this festive time of the year.”

The fair will include entertainment and performances by local artists and much more. Participating vendors will be able to display their wares and food for sale.
