Vice-President of the French Volleyball Federation (FFVB) Florence Avaby was in St. Martin for three days as part of a 10-day visit to the French Antilles. Avaby is in charge of developing volleyball in the overseas territories. Her visit began with Martinique and Guadeloupe and ended in St. Martin and St. Barths. Her mission was to meet the personalities in charge of volleyball and to evaluate infrastructure and development of the sport and discuss new projects. She is seen here at the Collectivité’s sports information day on Saturday with President of the St. Martin Volleyball League of the Northern Islands, Thierry Stephen.
