Line work being carried out.

ST. EUSTATIUS--As of Sunday, October 11th, 2026, island-wide water rationing has been enacted. Statia Utility Company (STUCO) said the rationing was implemented to help replenish tank levels. Water service will be disconnected nightly from 8:00pm until 5:00am.

The temporary rationing will remain in effect for the next two days due to reduced water production capacity, as two of the company’s four water plants are currently out of service.

The STUCO technical team is actively working to resolve an issue affecting one of the larger plants. The second plant, a smaller one, has been temporarily taken out of service to accommodate the installation of the new water plant. The company said it will provide updates as more information becomes available.
