PHILIPSBURG–Windward Islands Bank (WIB) will hold its Carnival “Jump In” street party in front of its main office on D.A. Pieterson Street from 5:30 to 11:30pm Thursday.
The Carnival event, formerly called a block party, brings together the bank’s staff and the community with live entertainment featuring Natty and The House band, Kenyo Baly, and DJ Jack “The Hot One.”
Food and drinks will be sold by WIB’s Employee Association. Only biodegradable cups will be used.
To further reduce their carbon footprint, WIB staff have opted to reuse what are now sport vintage Carnival T-shirts in honour of the past years of activities to be environmental friendly and save on cost.
A sneak preview of WIB’s Personal Online Banking will be given at the event. The bank invites the public to “come on down” to the Jump In to celebrate Carnival. Lots of giveaways and fun are on offer.
