Winair, British Airways sign interline agreement

AIRPORT–Windward Islands Airways International Winair and British Airways (BA) have announced the successful implementation of an interline agreement between the two carriers. As BA serves Antigua, this will greatly assist passengers to and from any Winair destination to make seamless connections to and from Europe.

Winair President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Michael Cleaver stated, “This agreement will further enhance the company’s reach via British Airways’ London hub to all destinations served by British Airways. It also puts all Winair destinations within reach of British Airways passengers.”

Winair also has interline service agreements with Air France, KLM, Copa Airlines, United, Air Antilles, Pawa Dominicana, LIAT, Caribbean Airlines, Air Caraïbes, Insel Air and Corsair. This gives customers greater access to destinations with value-added services such as checked-through baggage.

Winair offers connections from its main gateway Princess Juliana International Airport SXM to Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barths, Nevis, St. Kitts, Tortola, Antigua, San Juan, Dominica and Guadeloupe. Winair also provides charter services to most islands in the Northeastern Caribbean and offers cargo and “QuickPack” courier services to all its destinations.
