AIRPORT–Windward Islands Airways International Winair and union WICSU/PSU renewed and signed a new collective labour agreement (CLA) on August 8.
WICSU/PSU will represent Winair’s pilots for the upcoming three years. This agreement continues to provide stability moving forward and further demonstrates the positive working relationship Winair and WICSU/PSU have achieved by working together, according to the airline.
Winair and WICSU/PSU thanked their teams for their professionalism and dedication in renegotiating this contract “in the spirit if civility, good faith and addressing future issues. Both parties realise the important role Winair and its unionised members have in their company and the country.”
The negotiating teams comprised union President Sophia Rismay-Peterson, Vice-President Deborah Rombley, shop stewards Captains Dino Arrundell, Michael Jeffrey and Kevin Jeffers, and, on the Winair side, Winair President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Cleaver, Vice-President and CFO Roberto Gibbs and Human Resources Manager Marina Larmonie.
