Graham Sephenson received the Outstanding Lifetime Achievement award at the annual Sapphire Pegasus Awards.
MAHO–The Sapphire Pegasus Award ceremony took place at Sonesta Maho Resort and Casino on Tuesday evening. The awards are presented on an annual basis for outstanding performances and accomplishments in aviation.
As part of the Caribbean Aviation Meetup, Adam Twidell won in the category of Outstanding Online Networker; Deborah Aharon received the Outstanding Woman in Aviation award, Saba’s Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport won best Scenic Airport Approaches, Outstanding Country Promotion went to the Bahamas and Graham Sephenson received the Outstanding Lifetime Achievement award.
The Sapphire Pegasus Awards are symbols of gratitude for superb performance in an industry segment where mediocrity is unacceptable. The awards have been accepted as assets of their own kind in the industry and already receive worldwide attention. In Europe, the professional business aviation organisations EBAA, BACA, RUBAA, CEPA and AFBAA are supporting partners of the event.
A Sapphire Pegasus trophy is created out of Bohemian crystal by the glass masters of Moser Glassworks in Karlovy Vary. Moser provides a unique aesthetic experience through works of crystal that have timeless artistic value associated with a high utility value.
Winners happily received their awards and thanked the organisation responsible for organising the meet-up.
