Police patrols were directed to stay visible near Milton Peters College (MPC) where a number of school fights have taken place this week.

Police vehicles were also seen near St. Maarten Academy during the early afternoon hours on Thursday. The police did not announce how long they would keep up the extra presence in the area, but they are expected to keep a close eye on the schools. School fights took place near MPC on Tuesday and Wednesday. A 19-year-old girl was arrested for assaulting a teenager in a school bus on Tuesday.
