First public meeting on Mullet Bay Masterplan Set for September 23, public invited | The Peoples Tribune

GREAT BAY--Residents, businesses and other stakeholders are being invited to help shape the future of the Mullet Bay area as Lyongo Architecture prepares a masterplan for the area and hosts its first public consultation on Wednesday, September 23.

The architectural and urban design firm is currently working on the Mullet Bay area masterplan and is seeking input from the wider community before the plan is developed further.

The consultation forms part of a broader effort to understand the opportunities, challenges, qualities and needs of the area while ensuring that different perspectives are considered as the masterplan takes shape.

During the meeting, Lyongo Architecture will outline its vision and approach to the future development of the Mullet Bay area.

The presentation will be followed by an open discussion with participants, who will be encouraged to share what they believe are the most important qualities of Mullet Bay and identify the opportunities, concerns and priorities that should be addressed in the masterplan.

Organizers said community participation is an important part of the planning process and encouraged anyone with an interest in the future of Mullet Bay to attend and share their perspective.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Golf Shop at the Golf Course on Rhine Road, Simpson Bay.

The meeting is open to everyone, but advance registration is required because space is limited.

Lyongo Architecture said it looks forward to hearing the ideas, concerns and aspirations of the community as work continues on a masterplan intended to guide the future of the Mullet Bay area.
